This is where I will put some snap shots showing the progress of our house building project in Nairobi. So exciting to be building our own home!
After 3 long years of waiting for subdivision we were finally able to buy 1 acre of land in the leafy suburb of Langata right next door to Sean's family.
Stage 1 of the project is now complete. This was the clearing of the land, as it was solid African bush, to uncover some beautiful trees that we had no idea were on the plot. See pictures above of before and after.
Stage 2 will hopefully start in the next week or so which is fencing the plot. Will get some more pictures up when that is finished.
Exciting times....
